Omnisoothe 10mg Lozenges works by blocking pain signals from the peripheral nerves to brain which decreases the sensation of pain.

Poorly soluble in aqueous fluid, benzocaine tends to remain at the site of application and is not readily absorbed into the systemic circulation. Because of its low toxic potential, benzocaine is especially useful for anesthesia of large surface areas within the oral cavity.
