Ototop Eye Drop is an antibiotic. It treats bacterial eye infections by preventing the bacteria from dividing and repairing. It does so by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase.
Levofloxacin is approximately 24 to 38% bound to serum plasma proteins (primarily albumin); serum protein binding is independent of serum drug concentrations. The plasma elimination half-life (t1/2 beta) ranges from 6 to 8 hours in individuals with normal renal function.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
