Papa 250mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with food, preferably at a fixed time. Papa 250mg Tablet is an antihelmintic medication. It works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis. The worms are unable to move and are cleared naturally in stool.
Pyrantel pamoate is poorly absorbed from the intestine; more than 85% of the dose is passed unaltered in feces. The absorbed portion is metabolized and excreted in urine. It is usually effective in a single dose.
