Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation and promotes healing.
Pharmacokinetics. After oral/IM or rectal administration, Diclofenac sodium + Serratiopeptidase is rapidly absorbed in the GIT. However, the absorption rate is very slow in enteric-coated formulations. The drug can enter breast milk and synovial fluid after distribution.
