Pnv Plus 25 mg/2.5 mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, dryness in the mouth, headache, and fatigue. These are usually mild and disappear after a short time. Consult your doctor if they persist. This medicine may also cause sleepiness and drowsiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.
Pnv Plus 25 mg/2.5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Meclizine and Folic Acid. Meclizine is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting and light-headedness in vertigo. Folic acid provides essential nutrients.

Drug-Drug Interactions: FOLIC ACID+MECLIZINE may interact with a quinolone antibiotic (ciprofloxacin), a medicine used to treat respiratory diseases (theophylline), an antidepressant (duloxetine), a medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease (selegiline), muscle relaxant (tizanidine), and medicines that induce sleep (clonazepam, diazepam, and lorazepam, etc.).
Drug-Food Interactions: Do not consume alcohol or marijuana, as it can increase the risk of side effects.
Drug-Disease Interactions: FOLIC ACID+MECLIZINE should be used with caution in patients with liver or stomach problems, insomnia (trouble sleeping), asthma, glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye), heart disease, and high blood pressure.

You have been prescribed Pnv Plus 25 mg/2.5 mg Tablet to relieve vertigo (dizziness) and feeling of nausea, vomiting associated with it.
Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body.
Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
