It may cause side effects like dizziness, headache, blurred vision, nausea, constipation and fatigue in some patients. Your doctor may advise for regular monitoring of kidney function while you are taking this medicine.
This medicine may not be suitable for some people. You must inform doctor if you are suffering from any liver or kidney disease. Also let your doctor know about all the other medications that you are using regularly. This medicine is not usually recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so always consult your doctor before taking it.
Pradil 150 Tablet is an anti-arrhythmic medication. It works by blocking abnormal electrical signals in the heart to correct irregular heartbeat to a normal rhythm.
Propafenone undergoes extensive presystemic clearance that appears to be saturable, with bioavailability increasing as dosage increases. The drug is highly protein bound. Elimination half-life is 5 to 8 hours in most patients, although a range of 2 to 32 hours has been reported.

Drug-Drug Interactions: PROPAFENONE may interact with medicines used to treat and prevent blood clots (apixaban), or medicines used to treat high blood pressure (metoprolol).
Drug-Food Interactions: PROPAFENONE may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid alcohol intake while taking PROPAFENONE.
Drug-Disease Interactions: If you have an electrolyte imbalance, cardiac dysfunction, liver disease, renal dysfunction, bronchospastic disorder, or proarrhythmic effects, please inform your doctor before taking PROPAFENONE.
