Prenoxid 200mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablet whole with water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. In case, you have missed any doses, take the next dose as soon as you remember it. However, never take a double dose. You must inform your doctor if symptoms do not get improve within 7 days of the treatment.


The most common side effects of this medicine include allergic reactions, allergic skin reactions, constipation, and dryness in the mouth. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. Prenoxid 200mg Tablet is an antitussive (cough suppressants). It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.

Indications

Prenoxdiazine (marketed as Libexin) is a cough suppressant. It acts peripherally by desensitizing the pulmonary stretch receptors. Therefore, there's a reduction of cough impulses originating in the lungs. Prenoxdiazine is indicated in cough of bronchial origin.
