Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your dizziness. The main mechanism of action of levosulpiride consists of blocking the D2 dopaminergic receptors, preferentially located on the presynaptic membranes in the dopaminergic pathways of the brain; this means that sulpiride is a selective autoreceptor blocker.Pantoprazole shows linear pharmacokinetics after both i.v. and oral administration. Pantoprazole is extensively metabolized in the liver, has a total serum clearance of 0.1 l/h/kg, a serum elimination halflife of about 1.1 h, and an apparent volume of distribution of 0.15 l/kg.

LEVOSULPIRIDE+PANTOPRAZOLE may interact with medicines such as anti-fungal (ketoconazole, itraconazole, posaconazole) anti-cancer (erlotinib), blood thinner (warfarin, phenprocoumon), anti-HIV (atazanavir), a drug used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and cancer (methotrexate), anti-depressant (fluvoxamine), antibiotic (rifampicin), and herbal supplement (St John’s wort).
