This medicine may cause diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration.

Prudac 2 Tablet is a selective 5-HT4 receptor agonist that has high intrinsic activity. It indirectly stimulates the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger that increases the motility of the intestine and treats even chronic (long-term) constipation very effectively.

Pharmacokinets

Prucalopride is rapidly absorbed (Cmax attained 2–3 hours after single 2 mg oral dose) and is extensively distributed. Metabolism is not the major route of elimination.
