Raliwiz Gel Gel is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
After oral administration, aceclofenac is rapidly and completely absorbed as unchanged drug. Peak plasma concentrations are reached approximately 1.25 to 3.00 hours following ingestion. Aceclofenac penetrates into the synovial fluid, where the concentrations reach approximately 57% of those in plasma.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

The baby's skin should not come into direct contact with the treated area of skin. Water-miscible cream/gel is preferred as ointments may expose the baby to harmful effects of Raliwiz Gel Gel via licking.

Aceclofenac film-coated tablets are indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Aceclofenac film-coated tablets are supplied for oral administration and should be swallowed whole with a sufficient quantity of liquid.
ACECLOFENAC may have interaction with pain killers (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib, etoricoxib), anti-depressants (citalopram, escitalopram, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, sertraline, lithium), cardiac glycoside (digoxin), anti-hypertensives (enalapril, lisinopril, losartan, candesartan, hydralazine, methyldopa, clonidine, moxonidine, propranolol), antibiotics (ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, levofloxacin moxifloxacin), diuretics (furosemide, amiloride hydrochloride), blood thinners (warfarin, heparin, clopidogrel), anti-rheumatoid (methotrexate), steroids (mifepristone), glucocorticoids (hydrocortisone, prednisolone), immunosuppressants (ciclosporin, tacrolimus), anti-HIV (zidovudine), anti-diabetic (glibenclamide, gliclazide, tolbutamide).

If you miss a dose of Raliwiz Gel Gel, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Do not cover the area being treated with Raliwiz Gel Gel with a bandage, as this may increase absorption of this medicine and increase the side effects. Do not use more than what is recommended to relieve your symptoms faster. Using more than what is advised will only increase the side effects. Let your doctor know if you are planning to conceive. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should use Raliwiz Gel Gel only if prescribed by the doctor.
