Ranloc DM Tablet is a combination of two medicines. It is to be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. A high dose or overdose may have harmful effects on the body.

Mechanism Of Action

DOMPERIDONE+RANITIDINE is a combination of two drugs, namely: Ranitidine (H2 receptor antagonist) and Domperidone (a dopamine antagonist). Ranitidine works by blocking histamine H2 receptors located on the stomach lining, thereby reduces gastric acid secretion.


Pharmacokinets

Domperidone is a specific blocker of dopamine receptors. It speeds gastrointestinal peristalsis, causes prolactin release, and is used as antiemetic and tool in the study of dopaminergic mechanisms. Side effects include galactorrhea, gynecomastia, or menstrual irregularities.

Pharmacokinetics: Absorption: Ranitidine Tablets is 50% absorbed after oral administration, compared to an intravenous (IV) injection with mean peak levels of 440 to 545 ng/mL occurring 2 to 3 hours after a 150 mg dose.
