Respolite 30mg Tablet should be taken with food. For better results, it is suggested to take it at the same time every day. The dose and how often you take it depend on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. It is advised not to use it for more than 14 days without your doctor's consultation.
The most common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, and stomach upset. Talk to your doctor if you are worried about side effects or they would not go away. Generally, it is advised not to take alcohol while on treatment.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease or if you have stomach problems. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. You must take a doctor's advice before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Respolite 30mg Tablet is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out.
Bioavailability of ambroxol administered orally is approximately 70–80%. The distribution half-life of ambroxol is 1.3 hours, metabolite is dibromoanthranilic acid (activity unspecified) and Elimination of ambroxol is biphasic, with an alpha half-life of 1.3 hours and a beta half-life of 8.8 hours.

If you miss a dose of Respolite 30mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Respolite 30mg Tablet helps in thinning and removal of the mucus (slimy and sticky substance) from the airways, thereby treats various respiratory conditions.
Measure the syrup with a special dose-measuring spoon or cup, not a regular table spoon.
