Retune-LS Tablet can also be used in the management of schizophrenia and depression. It may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
Some common side effects of this medicine include headache and fatigue. It also causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. You should immediately consult your doctor if there are missed periods, abnormal milk secretion, changes in sexual desire, or fever after taking this medicine.
The main mechanism of action of levosulpiride consists of blocking the D2 dopaminergic receptors, preferentially located on the presynaptic membranes in the dopaminergic pathways of the brain; this means that sulpiride is a selective autoreceptor blocker.

If you have allergic to levosulpiride or similar medicines. If you have any psychiatric disorder such as fits, sudden change in mood. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are suffering from changes in breast tissues and nodules and have a high level of prolactin hormone.

Drug-Drug Interactions: LEVOSULPIRIDE may interact with pain killers, anticholinergic drugs, medicines that prolong the QT interval, medicines that cause electrolyte disturbances, narcotics, and aluminium and magnesium-containing antacids (aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide).
