It should be taken in an empty stomach and take it at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine. The medicine may take some to show its effects on the symptoms. Rinizide 150 mg/100 mg/375 mg Tablet is used to treat tuberculosis, an infectious disease that mainly affects the lungs but can affect other parts of the body as well. It kills as well as stops the growth of infection causing bacteria and helps in treating the infection.

Pronounced interindividual variation in circulating isoniazid concentration and clearance which occur after dosing with the drug are associated with hereditary differences in the acetylalor status.Pyrazinamide is used in the treatment of tuberculosis (TB) because its sterilizing effect against tubercle bacilli allows the shortening of treatment. It is part of standard treatment for drug-susceptible and drug-resistant TB, and it is being considered as a companion drug in novel regimens.Approximately 80% of rifampicin is transported in blood bound to plasma proteins, mainly albumin. Rifampicin is well distributed, although to a different degree, in the various tissues of the human body. Probably in the hepatocyte, rifampicin undergoes a process of desacetylation.

Consuming alcohol while taking Rinizide 150 mg/100 mg/375 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Rinizide 150 mg/100 mg/375 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Isoniazid+Pyrazinamide+Rifampicin is used in the treatment of tuberculosis.Isoniazid prevents the TB bacteria from forming their own protective covering while Rifampicin works by inactivating a bacterial enzyme (RNA-polymerase) which is required by these bacteria to make essential proteins and to reproduce. Together, they kill the bacteria and eradicate the infection. Pyrazinamide , on the other hand works by slowing the growth of these bacteria.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Rinizide Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all medications, vitamins and herbal supplements you use, so that your doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Rinizide 150 mg/100 mg/375 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Avoid Rinizide 150 mg/100 mg/375 mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
