Rioci 1.5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and take it at the same time each day to help you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.


Common side effects of this medicine include headache, indigestion, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, hypotension, vomiting, anemia, gastroesophageal reflux, and constipation. Avoid driving or doing anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Generally, most of its side effects usually resolve on their own and do not need any medical attention. However, you should consult with the doctor if you are bothered by any of the side effects.

Rioci 1.5mg Tablet is a vasodilator. It works by widening the blood vessels that connect the heart to the lungs. This increases the blood supply to the lungs, which reduces the workload of the heart.

Pharmacokinets

The pharmacokinetics of riociguant are dose proportional from 0.5 mg to 2.5 mg. The absolute bioavailability is approximately 94%.

Contra Indications

Contraindicated. Coadministration of PDE-5 inhibitors (eg, avanafil, sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil) and guanylate cyclase stimulators (eg, riociguat) is contraindicated due to risk of additive hypotension; do not administer 24 hr before or within 48hr of each other.

Interactions

Drug-Food Interactions: Alcohol may increase the side effects of RIOCIGUAT. Hence, it is advised to limit the intake of alcohol while using RIOCIGUAT.
