Rioci 1.5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and take it at the same time each day to help you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.
Common side effects of this medicine include headache, indigestion, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, hypotension, vomiting, anemia, gastroesophageal reflux, and constipation. Avoid driving or doing anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Generally, most of its side effects usually resolve on their own and do not need any medical attention. However, you should consult with the doctor if you are bothered by any of the side effects.
Before using this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any preexisting medical conditions. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking. Additionally, if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. As it may cause harmful effects to the developing baby.
Rioci 1.5mg Tablet is a vasodilator. It works by widening the blood vessels that connect the heart to the lungs. This increases the blood supply to the lungs, which reduces the workload of the heart.
The pharmacokinetics of riociguant are dose proportional from 0.5 mg to 2.5 mg. The absolute bioavailability is approximately 94%.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Contraindicated. Coadministration of PDE-5 inhibitors (eg, avanafil, sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil) and guanylate cyclase stimulators (eg, riociguat) is contraindicated due to risk of additive hypotension; do not administer 24 hr before or within 48hr of each other.
Rioci 1.5mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Rioci 1.5mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Rioci 1.5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Drug-Drug Interactions: RIOCIGUAT may interact with diuretic medicines (e.g. spironolactone, mannitol) and antiarrhythmic medicines (e.g. sotalol). The relevance of a particular drug interaction varies from person to person. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting or stopping any medication, and also inform your doctor about all your medical conditions and ongoing therapies before prescribing this medication. Considering these, your doctor may check the drug interactions before prescribing this medication.
Drug-Food Interactions: Alcohol may increase the side effects of RIOCIGUAT. Hence, it is advised to limit the intake of alcohol while using RIOCIGUAT.
Drug-Disease Interactions: Brief your doctor if you have a medical history of hypotension, liver impairment, and renal impairment.
