Sademet Tablet is a hepatoprotective dietary supplement. It contains the active ingredient S-adenosyl L-methionine/ademetionine. Sademet Tablet acts as a hepatoprotectant (protects the liver and decreases the damage caused to the liver) and improves its function.


Pharmacokinets

Following oral administration of ademetionine, peak plasma concentrations are achieved 3-5 hrs after ingestion of enteric-coated tablets (400-1000 mg). Oral bioavailability is enhanced when ademetionine is administered under fasting conditions.

Interactions

Ademetionine may increase the hepatotoxic activities of Acetaminophen. The metabolism of Aminophylline can be decreased when combined with Ademetionine. The metabolism of Benzocaine can be decreased when combined with Ademetionine. The metabolism of Benzyl alcohol can be decreased when combined with Ademetionine.

Effects Of Missed Dosage
