It calms the nerves in the teeth and also build-up potassium ions over time which helps to desensitize nerves in the tooth pulp, making them irresponsive to sensitivity stimuli. Sodium monofluorophosphate used to protect tooth enamel from attack by bacteria. Triclosan used to control plaque and improve the health of the gums. It is also useful for children as it strengthens enamel and helps in preventing cavities.
