Seretochem 5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms, for the shortest possible time. You should take this medicine regularly while you need it. Try not to miss doses as this will make the medicine less effective.
It is generally safe with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms which you think are caused by the medicine, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.

Seretochem 5mg Tablet is an enzyme that works by breaking down the chemical messengers involved in pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
After oral administration, Serratiopeptidase is absorbed through the intestines and transported directly into the bloodstream.

Serrapeptase should not be taken along with blood thinners — such as Warfarin and aspirin — other dietary supplements like garlic, fish oil, and turmeric, which may increase your risk of bleeding or bruising. Several side effects have been observed in people taking serrapeptase.

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Seretochem 5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Take it 30 minutes before a meal or as directed by your doctor.
Stop using Seretochem 5mg Tablet at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery as it may interfere with blood clotting.
Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease or problems with your blood clotting mechanism.
