Sonaxa NT 75mg/10mg Tablet is taken by mouth, with or without food and preferably at bedtime. It is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor as this is a habit-forming medicine. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop this medication suddenly without talking to the doctor.
Some common side effects of this medicine include constipation, difficulty in urination, weight gain, tiredness, and dryness in mouth. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness. So, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. This medicine may cause weight gain and to control it, you should exercise regularly and take a balanced diet. It is important to inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts.

Pregabalin works by reducing the release of a chemical (neurotransmitter) in the brain responsible for the sensation of pain. Nortriptyline works by acting on the release of certain chemicals and electrical activity in the brain.
Pregabalin subtly reduces the synaptic release of several neurotransmitters, apparently by binding to alpha2-delta subunits, and possibly accounting for its actions in vivo to reduce neuronal excitability and seizures.
Nortriptyline is readily absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract with extensive variation in plasma levels, depending on the patient. This drug undergoes first-pass metabolism and its plasma concentrations are attained within 7 to 8.5 hours after oral administration.

If you suddenly stop taking Sonaxa NT 75mg/10mg Tablet, you may experience withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, sleeping difficulties, nausea, pain and sweating. If you maintain good eating habits and exercise regularly, you might not gain any weight.
