It also causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you and do not take alcohol with it as it may worsen the dizziness.
Before taking this medicine, remember to inform your doctor if you have any medical conditions like acute narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, slurred speech, or drug dependence issues.
Tamspar 5mg Tablet works by modulating the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger of the brain that affects thoughts and mood.
A single-dose pharmacokinetic studies using 14C-labeled buspirone demonstrated that about 29-63% of the dose administered was excreted in the urine within 24 hours, primarily in the form of metabolites. About 18% to 38% of the dose was eliminated via fecal excretion.
