Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

Tazret Forte Cream is a form of vitamin A. It works by slowing down the rapid growth of skin cells, and blocks certain substances which cause inflammation (redness and swelling) on skin. This reduces scaling and thickening of the skin in psoriasis and clears acne.

Pharmacokinets

Tazarotene and tazarotenic acid were metabolized to sulfoxides, sulfones and other polar metabolites which were eliminated through urinary and fecal pathways. The half-life of the active form of the drug, tazarotenic acid, is approximately 18 hours in normal and psoriatic patients.
