Temfix Ace Tablet should be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and your needs. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Mechanism Of Action

Temfix Ace Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. These medicines work by blocking the action of chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Pharmacokinets

Aceclofenac: Rapidly absorbed; almost 100% bioavailability; peak plasma levels reached about 1.25-3 hr after oral admin. Distribution: Aceclofenac: >99.7% bound to plasma proteins; distributes into synovial fluid. Paracetamol: Distributes throughout most fluids of the body.

Interactions

ACECLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL interact with cholesterol lowering drugs (cholestyramine), charcoal, medicine to stop vomiting (domperidone, metochlopramide), alcohol, anti HIV drug (zidovudine), blood thinner (warfarin), blood pressure lowering medicine, anti cancer or anti arthritis drug (methotrexate) may lead to drug toxicity or affect the working of ACECLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL. So, contact the doctor before taking these medicines.

Effects Of Missed Dosage

If you miss a dose of Temfix Ace Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
