Teriflunomide is almost entirely protein-bound in plasma (>99%), demonstrates linear pharmacokinetics at doses of 5–25 mg/day, has a mean plasma half-life of 10–18 days, and achieves steady-state levels within 20 weeks. Drug clearance is through both biliary and renal mechanisms.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
