Tibofem Tablet can be taken with or without food, but better to take it at a fixed time each day for better efficacy. It should be swallowed whole with water. The most common side effects of this medicine are lower abdominal pain, abnormal hair growth, endometrial hyperplasia, vaginal discharge, breast tenderness, genital itching, vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, cervical thickening, and weight gain. Some of the warning signs and symptoms that need immediate medical attention are breast lumps, unusual vaginal bleeding, dizziness and faintness, severe headaches, chest pain, shortness of breath, pains in your legs. The mean oral bioavailability of tibolone is 92%. Its plasma protein binding is 96.3%. It is bound to albumin, and both tibolone and its metabolites have low affinity for SHBG. Tibolone is metabolized in the liver and intestines.
