Tramacip 100mg Tablet SR can be taken with or without food. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms, for the shortest possible time. You should take this medicine regularly while you need it. Try not to miss doses as this will make the medicine less effective.Some common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, sleepiness, vomiting, nausea, and constipation. If any of these side effects do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.
Tramacip 100mg Tablet SR helps to relieve moderate to severe pain in conditions that affect joints and muscles. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain. It can help relieve pain in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Tramadol is extensively metabolized in the liver by O- and N-desmethylation and by conjugation reactions to form glucuronides and sulfate metabolites. The O-desmethylation of tramadol to its main active metabolite, O-desmethyltramadol (M1), is catalyzed by cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2D6 [19,20,32] (Fig.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tramacip 100mg Tablet SR.
Tramacip 100mg Tablet SR is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Consult a doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness (more than usual), difficulty breastfeeding, breathing problems, or limpness.

It has specific indications for moderate to severe pain. It is considered a class IV drug by the FDA and has been since July 7th, 2014. Due to possible abuse and addiction potential, limitations to its use should be for pain that is refractive to other pain medication, such as non-opioid pain medication.
TRAMADOL may have interaction with pain killers (pentazocine, buprenorphine, nalbuphine), blood thinners (warfarin), anti-anxiety drugs (alprazolam), fits related medicines (carbamazepine), medicines used to prevent nausea (ondansetron), antifungal drugs (ketoconazole), antibiotic (ciprofloxacin, erythromycin), anticancer drugs (ceritinib, lapatinib), immunosuppressants (fingolimod), antidepressants (fluoxetine, doxepin), antipsychotics (droperidol), and HIV/AIDS drugs (saquinavir).

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Tramacip 100mg Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Use only for severe acute pain for not more than 5 days.
Prolonged use may result in physical and psychological dependence even at recommended dosages.
Avoid driving or using machinery if you feel dizzy after taking Tramacip 100mg Tablet SR.
It is better to take with food to avoid an upset stomach.
Your doctor may adjust your dose if you have liver or kidney disease.

Q. Is there anything I need to be careful about while on therapy with Tramacip 100mg Tablet SR?
Tramacip 100mg Tablet SR may cause drowsiness and dizziness, especially in the beginning of the treatment. Do not drive or work with tools or machinery if your alertness is affected. It is not advisable to drink alcohol during treatment with this medicine as it might increase sleepiness.
