Tromax 50mg Capsule is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Diclofenac is eliminated following biotransformation to glucoroconjugated and sulphate metabolites which are excreted in urine, very little drug is eliminated unchanged. The excretion of conjugates may be related to renal function.

DICLOFENAC may interact with painkillers (nimesulide, oxyphenbutazone, metamizole), anti-blood clotting agents (warfarin), blood pressure-lowering agents (hydrochlorothiazide) and medicines for mania (lithium). Inform your doctor if you are taking any of these.
