Ultragin 500mg Injection is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Metamizole is a prodrug that is rapidly transformed into the main metabolite 4-methylaminoantipyrine (4-MAA) after oral and intravenous administration. 4-MAA is subsequently metabolized to 4-formylaminoantipyrine (4-FAA) and 4-aminoantipyrine (4-AA), which are acetylated to 4-acetylaminoantipyrine (4-AAA) [11].
