Wincalm Plus 5 Mg/2 Mg Tablet is a phenothiazine. It is used for treating all kinds of mental and mood disorders such as schizophrenia and anxiety. It can also reduce aggression and hallucinations.
Before using this medication notify your doctor if:
you are allergic to any ingredient contained within it
you have blood, heart, liver, bone marrow disorders
you are alcoholic or suffer from alcohol withdrawal
you are already taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs
you have asthma or lung infection, Parkinson or Alzheimer's diseases, dementia or diabetes
you have a history of cancer
you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are breast-feeding a baby
The dosage should be prescribed by the doctor based on your medical history and condition. The usual dose prescribed for adults is about 2-5 mg orally twice a day for treating Schizophrenia and 1-2 mg orally twice for treating anxiety.
