Yash ZI 250mg Tablet is taken orally, preferably one hour before or 2 hours after a meal. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the return or worsening of the infection.

Azithromycin in Yash Zi Tablet works by killing or inhibiting the growth of bacteria that cause infection.

Pharmacokinets

The bioavailability of azithromycin is approximately 37%. Concomitant administration of oral azithromycin with food significantly decreases by 50% drug bioavailability. Following a single oral 500 mg dose, peak plasma concentrations of about 0.35-0.45 mg/l are attained within approximately 2 hours.

Effects Of Missed Dosage

If you miss a dose of Yash ZI 250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
