Zac 5mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Clobazam is known to inhibit CYP2D6, affecting the pharmacokinetics of drugs such as dextromethorphan, which undergoes an 95% increase in its AUC in the presence of clobazam [15]. Clobazam and its metabolites are excreted in the urine and feces [6], with the rate of elimination of clobazam increasing with age [24].
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
