Zacy-MR 8 Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose and duration will depend on the severity of your condition. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it.Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and dryness in the mouth. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.
Zacy-MR 8 Tablet is a combination of one muscle relaxant and two pain relievers.Zacy-MR 8 Tablet works by causing the muscles to become less stiff. It also blocks the action of certain chemicals that causes pain and swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement. Zacy-MR 8 Tablet can help you do your daily activities without any problem. It is advisable to continue taking Zacy-MR 8 Tablet until your doctor advises you to stop.
Absorption - After IM administration, thiocolchicoside Cmax occur in 30 min and . reach values of 113 ng/mL after a 4 mg dose and 175 ng/mL after a 8 mg dose. The corresponding values of AUC are respectively 283 and 417 ng. h/mL.Aceclofenac (AC), a phenyl acetic acid derivative, ({[2-(2,6-dichloroanilino)phenyl]acetyl}oxy)acetic acid, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation with a reduced side effect profile, especially gastrointestinal events that are frequently.It distributes rapidly and evenly throughout most tissues and fluids and has a volume of distribution of approximately 0.9L/kg. 10 to 20% of the drug is bound to red blood cells. Paracetamol is extensively metabolised (predominantly in the liver), the major metabolites being the sulphate and glucuronide conjugates.

Thiocolchicoside + Aceclofenac + Paracetamol is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Thiocolchicoside ) and two pain relievers ( Aceclofenac , Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Zacy-MR 8 Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Zacy-MR 8 Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:
Alcohol
Interfere with certain laboratory tests

Ketoconazole

Do not chew, crush or break it. Zacy-MR 8 Tablet is to be taken with food.

If you miss a dose of Zacy-MR 8 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

This medicine is most effective when taken along with proper rest and physical therapy.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Zacy-MR 8 Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling as a result of taking Zacy-MR 8 Tablet.
Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.

Zacy-MR 8 Tablet is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when the pain is relieved. However, Zacy-MR 8 Tablet should be continued if advised by the doctor.

The use of Zacy-MR 8 Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to painkillers or any of the components or excipients of this medicine. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Yes, Zacy-MR 8 Tablet can be taken with vitamin B-complex preparations. While Zacy-MR 8 Tablet helps to relieve pain, vitamin B-complex can help to correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing your symptoms.
Q. Can the use of Zacy-MR 8 Tablet cause damage to kidneys?
Yes, the long-term use of Zacy-MR 8 Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.

No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.
Q. Can the use of Zacy-MR 8 Tablet cause damage to liver?
Zacy-MR 8 Tablet contains Paracetamol. These medicines are known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal liver enzymes.
