Zentel Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.
Zentel Tablet is an antiparasitic medication. It works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die and treats your infection.
The pharmacokinetics of albendazole differ slightly between men and women: women have a lower oral clearance and volume of distribution, while men have a lower serum peak concentration. Albendazole undergoes very fast 1st-pass metabolism in all species, such that the unchanged drug is undetectable in plasma.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Albendazole is an antihelminthic medication with numerous indications such as cystic hydatid disease of the liver, lung, and peritoneum resulting from the larval form of the dog tapeworm, Echinococcus granulosus.
Albendazole has no known severe interactions with other drugs. Albendazole has no known serious interactions with other drugs. Moderate interactions of albendazole include: fosphenytoin.

If you miss a dose of Zentel Chewable Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Along with that, the medicine has shown good activity against some organisms that can survive without oxygen too, like Giardia lamblia and Trichomonas vaginalis.
