Zentel Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Zentel Tablet is an antiparasitic medication. It works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die and treats your infection.


Pharmacokinets

The pharmacokinetics of albendazole differ slightly between men and women: women have a lower oral clearance and volume of distribution, while men have a lower serum peak concentration. Albendazole undergoes very fast 1st-pass metabolism in all species, such that the unchanged drug is undetectable in plasma.

Albendazole is an antihelminthic medication with numerous indications such as cystic hydatid disease of the liver, lung, and peritoneum resulting from the larval form of the dog tapeworm, Echinococcus granulosus.
