Zobastat Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to muscle and nerve cells of worms causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that they lose energy and die. This treats your infection effectively.
The pharmacokinetic profile of a new fixed-dose combination of ivermectin and albendazole was characterized. The bioequivalence versus the reference ivermectin was demonstrated, though bioequivalence versus albendazole was not shown. The three medications analyzed were well tolerated.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
